I had the great pleasure to work on a new play by Julia Doolittle - LOVE & CONTRACTS! Wonderful actors, gracious smart staff and fancy but still hilarious person and director Moritz Von Stuelpnagel!
Danny Whitman and Robert Bartley are the co-creators and directors of this ambitious original piece. What an honor and a challenge to play Lucille Ball in this premiere at Eisemann Center in Dallas.
GRUMPY OLD MEN the Musical - US Premiere @ Ogunquit Playhouse!
This show magically found me and I had a great ride on a flippin’ SNOWMOBILE!!! I learned so much. Got to play onstage with Ed Dixon, sing a duet w Mark Jacoby, be amazed by Hal Linden and Sally Struthers, enjoy B’way divas - Brenda Braxton, Laura Woyasz, Kevin Massey and Doug Eskew. Lived the month of August in charming Ogunquit MAINE! The theme/meme became - PUT ON YOUR PARKA & GET BACK OUT THERE!! #lifeisallaboutlivin
What an amazing and surreal opportunity to perform with the USA contingent from Montana (Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre) at the First festival to honor Russian folk music icon, Alfia Avzalova!! I sang IN the TARTAR Language!! Or at least - really tried!
Kazan and Moscow, both incredible cities.
Hilarious - in the painful (almost your Life) kinda way. Great group. LOVE wearing antlers!!
This beautiful and unusual play by Lauren Gunderson, explores the lives of ground-breaking women scientists who join the emerging corp of women working in the "computing" room of Harvard Observatory in 1905. I was honored to learn about these women and portray a piece of their story. Grateful for wonderful colleagues again at ICT.
Bucket list! Role I played in my bathroom many times. I was honored/ thrilled to get the chance to LOLA! Great cast and creative team. Great Spirit of Ensemble. Thank you thank you.
This was a great honor and a tremendous challenge! I'm not done with this story, this ballet, this show. So grateful for the chance to challenge myself and collaborate with wonderful artists.
In celebration of composer John Adams' 70th Birthday, the very vibrant and gracious maestro conducted his opera NIXON IN CHINA with the LA Philharmonic in March 2017!
Walt Disney Concert Hall was transformed with a set dominated by a giant television showing actual Nixon-era footage integrated with world class singers, direction by Elkhana Pulitzer and Choreography by Me. It was thrilling to stage a 20 minute ballet - a propaganda classic of the period inspired by the National Ballet of China's RED DETACHMENT OF WOMEN ballet.
"The performances of the three principle actors of the film are in a word ‘stunning’. Randy Wayne and Trilby Glover ... are off set by the chilling and utterly creepy performance by Leslie Stevens in her roll of The Otherworldly being who comes upon them in the night. All three of these actors put in such powerful performances that you will quickly become entirely immersed in the story and hang on to the edge of your seat..."
